Catherine Loft and Scott McCarthy make up KoolRunnings Kennels. We have moved homes and are located just outside Canberra in NSW.

After 20 years, Scott and I were married on 1st August 09 with our family and friends present.

Our dear friends Nikki and Adam White from Sno Trek kennels have also relocated from QLD and now living 4 streets away from us and we couldn't be happier to have them close again. Nikki will be handling for Koolrunnings in the show ring and as usual, being my constant source of support.

We are thrilled to congratulate Michael and Christina on the safe arrival of their daughter Sienna on 21 Sept 09. We celebrate the next generation of handlers for Koolrunnings !

KoolRunnings was established in 1994, I brought a 'pet' malamute who turned out to be a very successful Show Dog !!
Just goes to show, you never know. This lead me into the showing and breeding career, known to be highly competitive I simply must have the best in all I do. It was this philosophy that allowed me to continue showing and studying the breed throughout the following years. I visited the USA in 1997, returned in November 2000, November 2002, November 2004, November 2008 and will head back in December 2009 for the AKC Eukanuba National Championship shows to further my knowledge in the breed attending the Nationals and spending time with my mentors at their homes. I have imported semen from 5 of USA's Top dogs, including; Am Ch Terraglo FireNice of Wolfmtn, Am Ch Terraglos Mover N Shaker, Am Ch Glenhaven Mostly Mozart, Am Ch Wolfmountains Special Ops & Am Ch Barrenfield Major Knockout. I have imported 3 dogs, Ch Terraglo's Make N A Splish Splash (Splash), Ch Wolfmt Koolrunnings Ms Chievious (Chevy) and Am Ch Aust Gr Ch Wolfmountains Speical Ops (Clancy).

KoolRunnings is known for QUALITY dogs, both in the show ring and much loved pets........we only breed when it's time to ad another show addition to our own kennel and sometimes there are show and pet puppies available. All show puppies are co-owned and on breeding contracts to respect the requirements for AMCA CHD rated breedings only. Pet puppies are all sold spayed / neutered before they leave Koolrunnings.

And my middle sister Bernie, husband Mike pictured on their wedding day. Their son's pictured with Scott Sam on right and Ben on left. Finally we welcomed their 3rd child, our first niece Hannah Mary Griffiths.
